We provide several major sleeve manufacturer’s products (ArjioHuntleigh, Covidien, DJO) and can use your existing Distribution channel (Cardinal, McKesson, Medline) to deliver your sleeves if you wish.  We provide IN-FACILITY, TAKE-HOME, and HYBRID programs to meet all DVT-prevention needs.

  • How long has Crestone Medical been involved in DVT prevention?

    The principal of Crestone Medical helped pioneer the first DVT program offered and has 7 years experience with the program and its logistics.

  • Where does Crestone Medical do business?

    Crestone Medical operates nationwide and has a network of representatives to take care of you.

  • Does Crestone Medical provide other services?

    YES, Crestone strives to partner with you for DVT prevention and  other programs to help you mind your bottom line!

  • Are SCD Sleeves covered by my Global Fee Reimbursement?

    Global Fees typically cover all items used in the procedure EXCEPT for non-implantable DME items such as SCD sleeves.

  • How are you able to provide SCD sleeves at no cost?

    We have several hundred insurance contracts with established fee schedules to provide this service. Also, these items are not very different than other commonly-used DME products such as orthopedic braces.

  • Will you bill our patients if insurance denies payment?

    We do not bill the facility or patient if insurance denies payment. We also do not balance bill the patient if the insurance company only pays part of the billed amount.

  • Are Ambulatory Surgery Center patients at risk of DVT’s and PE’s?

    Studies show that even though patients are ambulatory, they are still at risk of DVT’s and PE’s for several reasons.

  • How can MedVantage pay a recovery service fee for sleeves we did not purchase?

    The program has been fully vetted by an industry-leading medical policies legal team and meets ALL legal requirements.  Furthermore, the fee is not a payment for the sleeves but is compensation for the facility's assistance with recovering the sleeves.
